Listeriosis is a bacterial illness spread through food that can cause fever, dizziness, stiff neck, disorientation, and a few gastrointestinal symptoms. Tyson Foods Inc. recalled almost 8.5 million pounds of chicken products due to concerns of listeria contamination in ready-to-eat meals, according to the USDA Food Safety and Inspection Service. The agency also ordered that all shops and customers dispose of or return the items.
