After privatising Air India, government to monetise its subsidiaries

After the historic move to privatise Air India, the government is gearing up to work on monetising its four other subsidiaries, including Alliance Air. Besides Alliance Air, the centre will also seek to monetise Rs 14,700 crore worth of non-core assets like land and building of Air India. "It is a very big task again of clearing of AIAHL liabilities and disposal of assets," DIPAM Secretary Tuhin Kanta Pandey said.
