After a recent investment, Dream11 turns out to be India’s first gaming unicorn

After getting investment from Steadview Capital via the secondary route, Fantasy sports platform Dream11 has become India’s first gaming unicorn. The current 3 investors of the firm- Kalaari Capital, Multiples Alternate Asset Management, and Think Investments — sold a portion of their shares worth $1-$1.5 billion. With this India is now having 15 unicorns, which are start-ups. The CEO of Dream11 refused to share details.
