Africa is edging closer to be home to 90% of world’s poor by 2030 as governments throughout the continent have marginal space for investing in poverty-reduction programs & economic growth is becoming sluggish, says a World Bank report. That’s an increase from 55% in 2015 and it will continue unless drastic action is taken immediately, in the biannual Africa Pulse report released Wednesday the World Bank has revealed.
