Volvo Cars eyes 'carbon neutral' status by 2040

Volvo Cars has pledged to reduce its lifecycle carbon footprint per car by 40% between 2018 and 2025. It’s a great initiative from a company who wants to be a climate-neutral company by 2040. The plan also focuses on limiting global warming to 1.5 degrees Celsius above pre-industrial levels. Volvo Cars will also keep a tab on the carbon emissions in its manufacturing network, through recycling and reuse of materials.
