Tata Nexon become 1st Indian Car to be rated 5 stars for safety

In a historic moment, India got its 1st 5 stars rated domestically manufactured car. Tata's Nexon compact SUV has achieved the milestone after UK based independent body Global NCAP award Nexon score of 16.06 points out of a total 17 possible points. Earlier Nexon was awarded 4 stars by the body in August but after extra safety equipment being added, Nexon scored 5 stars. Anand Mahindra also congratulates Tata Motors.
