Maharashtra plans to promote Electric Vehicles

In order to promote Electric Vehicles, Maharashtra Government is going to offer tax cuts and subsidies to promote Electric Vehicles under the new ‘Maharashtra Electric Vehicle Policy-2018’. As of March 2015, Maharashtra is accounted for nearly 12% of the vehicles of the country and with the transition to more Electric Vehicles, some changes of laws need to be there to set up the proper infrastructure for EVs.
