Indians dismissive of traffic rules, millenials more compassionate: Survey

Ford's road safety survey in India showed that 51% road users do not use seat belts, revealing a lack of seriousness regarding traffic rules in India. 22% of users were found to use mobiles while driving, 33% respondents voted for underage driving and 48% parked on footpaths. The millennial respondents were more aware of traffic rules and fared better on the parameters of compliance, caution and compassion.
