Jacqueline Fernandez is a Sri Lankan actress who has done most of her movies in the Bollywood industry. The former model won the Miss Universe Sri Lanka pageant of 2006. The Sri Lanka-born is a popular actress who has done several movies in Indian cinema.
She was born on August 11, 1985, in Manama, Bahrain, to Elroy Fernandez and Kim. Jacqueline's father is of Eurasian descent, while her mother is of Malaysian and Canadian descent. The actress also finds her roots in India. Her paternal great-grandparents resided in Goa, India. Her father is a musician in Sri Lanka who moved to Bahrain in the 1980s. Jacqueline is the youngest of the four children of her parents. She has one elder sister and two elder brothers.
Jacqueline did her early studies in Bahrain and then moved to Sydney to study mass communication. After doing her graduation in Australia, she returned to Sri Lanka and did some TV shows.
