Poonam Pandey married her long-term love of life, Sam Bombay. They got married in lockdown on September 1, 2020. The marriage happened in Mumbai in their home. Only a few family members and close friends were part of the ceremony.
On September 11, a complaint was lodged by Poonam against her husband Sam Bombay for molesting, threatening, and physically assaulting her. Sam Bombay got prisoned on September 23 in Goa. The incident happened in Canacona village south of Goa, where Pandey was filming short videos. However, this sparked controversy, and many accused him of fraud and misuse of the IPC Section 498A.
