Movie review:
When you want to be rich overnight, then there comes the perfect concept of stock market.
Bazaar movie is a crime thriller which is a refreshing genre from routine love stories and family dramas. The movie Baazaar is based on share market and different sides of morality, principles, and choices come with it. Every character chooses their own options when it comes to choosing between moral over money which is interesting to watch in the movie. The highlight of the movie is Saif Ali Khan and his witty and grey shade of character.
Written by Nikkhil Advani, Aseem Arora, and Parvez Shiekh, the storyline is good but could’ve been a little well placed. It could’ve more connectivity in the scenes and logic behind the story to wash away the loopholes present in the movie. Though the movie happens to give a few good twists to the audience. Dialogues, appearance, and setting of Saif Ali Khan, a Gujarati businessman in the movie is commendable. And Khan does justice to his character which is the highlight of the movie. Saif as his few grey hairs in the movie plays different grey shades in it. Also, each character in the movie Baazaar has their own understanding and belief in morality for them.
The meatiest role played by debutant actor Rohan Mehra in the movie Baazaar acts fine on screen but didn’t make a mark on the audience. Also, Radhika Apte played as Priya, a competitive stoke broker, acted pretty good. Chitrangda Singh and Manish Chaudhary with their small roles played fair for their character. Though the movie could’ve cut down a few rhythms.
Movie Baazaar inculcates a lot of stock market strategies, ideas, the concept of trading and financial manipulation with easy understanding for the audience. It successes to showcase the glamour of trading, business and power play between industries, politics, and stakeholders which is a treat for movie buffs.
